Updates to Attendance Entry

Jul 9, 2014 9:00:00 AM

We’ve received some great feedback from customers about our attendance entry process, and we’ve put a lot of those ideas in place!
  • The most significant change to the screen is that the Enter Attendance screen is now always sorted by household. Click on the Household name to apply an action to every member of the household.
  • New icons make it easy to apply an action. Click on the box to mark the individual or household as attended, click on the chalice to indicate they have communed, and click on the arrow to indicate they are a regular attendee.
  • We’ve added keyboard shortcuts to make attendance entry even faster! Use the arrow key to move up, down, left, and right. Press the space bar to mark the individual or household as attended, or use the following keys: Q for attended, W for communed, and E for regular attender. To view a complete list of keyboard shortcuts, press “?” or click on the "Shortcuts" button in the upper right corner.
  • All of the other functionalities are still in place, such as using the search bar to filter, clicking on bulk actions to apply an action to all the visible people, and filtering the list by different smart groups.
