Concordia Technology Solutions (CTS) is the technology division of Concordia Publishing House (CPH), a not-for-profit church-based organization that has been serving the needs of churches since 1869.

Because of the rich history of CPH and the depth of its employees who also serve their churches in various roles, CTS has a rich understanding of the unique and changing technology needs of the Church.

Since 1984, CTS has been developing church management software that provides churches and ministry leaders with the tools they need to be efficient in the office and effective in the mission field. Whether your church is small, mega-sized, or something in between, we have software suited for you. Learn more about our products.

Our Mission

Because we believe church management software isn’t just about getting organized, we are here to help churches work more efficiently so they can focus on what really matters—ministering to the people in their churches and communities. We are here to provide churches with the tools they need to get to know the people they serve and to turn that knowledge into increased outreach opportunities and points of connection.

Our History

Before the establishment of Concordia Technology Solutions, Concordia Publishing House continually made use of technological advances—from telephones in the 1880s to computers in the 1960s. But with the advent of the Internet and today’s unique web-based church management software solutions, Concordia Technology Solutions was established to provide God’s people with even more innovative solutions to help them share the Gospel around the world.

In the 1980s, we released our first DOS-based software package to provide CPH customers with a solution to reduce time spent on tracking member and financial information.

As technology expanded and with the release of the Windows® operating system, we introduced Shepherd’s Staff® version 1.0 in 1994. It’s Windows-based church management software that combines five user-friendly modules— Membership, Attendance, Contributions, Finance, and Scheduler—in one convenient package. Now, Shepherd’s Staff is used by thousands of churches nationwide, including denominations such as Lutheran, United Methodist, Catholic, Assembly of God, and Baptist.

In 2004, we released MemberConnect—web-based church intranet software designed to improve internal communication among church leadership and throughout the congregation. With its easy-to-use interface and robust features, MemberConnect provided churches a way to communicate important information quickly and effectively.

In 2009, MemberCaller was released to provide churches with web-based voice messaging software to help them reach any number of people at a moment’s notice.

In late 2012, we announced the release of the Church360° suite—Church360° Members, Church360° Unite, and Church360° Ledger. This new suite of web-based church management software provides churches with a total solution to managing their member information, church website, and financial information. These products provide the ultimate flexibility in church management.

Most important, Concordia Technology Solutions is made of up a dedicated team that provides customers with top-notch technical support. We are your team.
