Church360° Ledger received a major refresh in August 2024, and we’re pleased that it has proved helpful for many church offices. This work is not done, however, as our developers are always working to provide improvements wherever they can! Keep reading to learn about the exciting new features in the latest version of the software.

Introducing Ledger Report Tags

Church360-Q1-ReportTagsWe’re excited to introduce Report Tags in Church360° Ledger. These tags allow accounts to be categorized for custom reporting. While there are default tag groups built into Church360° Ledger (which can be helpful for churches who choose to conform to FASB standards for nonprofit financial reporting), you now also have the ability to create Custom Report Tags.

New Reporting Features

Church360-Q1-NewReportsReports are important for gauging the financial health of your church, ensuring accuracy and accountability, and sharing information with members and committees. With this latest update come two new reports.

Statement of Activities Report

The Statement of Activities Report shows the revenues and expenses of the church and the changes to its net assets for the fiscal year. Report Tags come in handy here, because each account must be assigned to a Tag for the report to generate. Because this is an end-of-the-fiscal-year report, you won’t be able to generate it for the current fiscal year.

Statement of Financial Position Report

The Statement of Financial Position Report shows the assets and liabilities of the church for the fiscal year. Just like with the Statement of Activities Report, you will need to assign Tags to your accounts here, and you won’t be able to generate this report for the current fiscal year.

Self-Led Data Conversion

Budget imports are nothing new to Church360° Ledger, but now you can import Accounts, Payees, and Transactions! If you use (or have used) third-party software, like QuickBooks, this means you can import this data into Church360° Ledger in a matter of minutes. If you haven’t already tried Church360° Ledger, start your free trial and import away!
