As alluded to in the last product update blog on Updates to Advanced Reports and Data Conversion, Church360° Ledger now has a new import feature! Read on to learn more about importing data from third-party software.
Self-Led Data Import
Users can now import a variety of financial information from third-party software, e.g., QuickBooks, into Church360° Ledger.
Accounts
Instead of creating and reordering a chart of accounts manually, you can now import accounts via a CSV file. The only required fields for this are Name, Account Type, and Current Balance.
Payees
You can now import payees both as individuals and as businesses. Only the Name field is required, while other fields (Legal Name, Address, Email, Tax ID, etc.) are optional. The software can even detect and filter out duplicate payee information.
Budget files, made either from scratch or in other software, can be imported into Church360° Ledger as long as it is in a CSV file! It’s easy to get the budget IDs from a quick export, ready for you to map your budget records to. The budget importer is capable of importing both annual and monthly amounts.
Transactions
Easily import transactions into Church360° Ledger from a CSV file. There are several data requirements for this import, but they are straightforward.
We hope this new import feature helps to simplify your church’s financial records! As always, please reach out to our team if you have any questions or concerns about this update.
