Church360° Members gives you the option to quickly update custom fields and tags in bulk on the People tab.
Bulk Updates to People Information
The People bulk update option allows you to update Baptism dates, confirmation dates, custom fields, ethnic groups, households, sexes, and Sunday School grades.
Here are the steps to bulk update information:
- Click on “People” in the top menu.
- Find the people you need to bulk update, and click the box to the left of each name to select the person. You can select as many people as necessary.
- Click on “Bulk Update” in the lower right corner.
- Choose the item from the drop-down menu you want to update.
- Select or enter the updated information.
- Click “Continue”. This will show a prompt asking you to type in the number of records that will be updated.
- Click “Update”.
Bulk Updating Tags
Church360° Members also gives you the ability to add or remove tags in bulk.
- Click on “People” in the top menu.
- Find the individuals or households you need to bulk update, and click the box to the left of each name to select the person. You can select as many people as necessary.
- Click on “Add or Remove Tags” in the lower right corner.
- A list of tags will appear. A faded tag indicates that some people selected have that tag, while a full-color tag indicates that everyone selected has that tag. To add a tag for everyone selected, type it in the box and press Enter. To delete a tag from everyone selected, click the “X” next to the tag in the list.
- Click “Close” when you are finished.
Any bulk changes made to People information and tags can be reversed using these same processes.
