Exciting things are happening at Concordia Technology Solutions this fall. Read more to learn about updates in Church360° Members—particularly on the new profile view!
Introducing the New Profile View
When it comes to checking, updating, and organizing church membership records, you don’t want to spend precious time hunting for information. In order to help you access profile information you need to serve your church more easily, we’ve created a new individual profile view in the software. This view includes the same information as before, but in a much more intuitive layout. You’ll see that this view makes much better use of its space.
Navigating the Updated View
While the same information is shown in the new view as the old view, it’s laid out in a much more intuitive way. Information is divided into the following sections:
Name BannerSee a member’s name, photo, and membership status at a glance. You can download, print, or edit this data. |
Information TabView contact information, family members, demographic information, custom fields, tags, and quick links. |
Timeline TabAccess a 10,000-foot view of a member’s notes, visits, and life events over time. See the timeline below! |
Key Changes in the New View
Layout
The organization of the Profile View has changed. The view will now be divided into two clickable tabs below the Name banner: Information and Timeline.
Membership Status
Setting membership status now happens in the Name banner.
Downloads
When downloading from the Profile view, instead of getting a preview, a file will be downloaded from the browser.
Changing Households
To move a person into a different household in the new Profile view, you will click the Edit button for the Address, and select “Change household.”
Editing and Saving Information
While the previous view saved changes automatically, the new view has added Edit buttons with action options and Save buttons to help prevent unintended changes.
Contact Changes
Marking a contact as unlisted is now done through the Edit option. Additionally, the concept of a Preferred contact for communications has been introduced.
Family
The Family section is now on the lower-left side of the information tab. Children are now listed in descending age order by default.
Tags
Tired of accidentally deleting tags with a single click? To add or remove a tag, you’ll now do so by clicking Edit first and using a drop-down with check-boxes.
Timeline
You can now export data from the Timeline tab to Excel. Clicking a pastoral Visit on the Timeline will take you to the Pastoral Visits view for consistency.
How to Try the New Profile View
To test out the new Profile View, simply go to Church360° Members and click “Try the new Profile View” at the top of your screen. You can toggle back and forth as desired, but eventually, the new view will be made default.
We hope these updates are a blessing to you and your team. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates as we head into 2026!
