Boost Your "Brand" and Make More Lasting Impressions

Mar 19, 2014 9:00:00 AM

Make your church more memorable by establishing or building up your church brand. Having a consistent visual representation of your church across multiple platforms will help make your church and your messaging more memorable and identifiable.

What’s a good first step toward boosting your church brand? Use your church logo and a complimentary color scheme consistently across all your messaging platforms:

  • Website
  • Outdoor signage
  • Posters
  • Bulletins
  • Banners
  • Newsletters
  • Emails
  • Letterhead
  • Offering envelopes

Creating a distinctive brand will also help remind people of the message they hear at church—that life-saving message of the Gospel.

How to Customize Your Page Headers

With in-line editing, it’s easy to remove the automatic page headers and create custom headers. Doing so allows you to keep shorter page names in the navigation and add a more detailed heading on the page.

Follow these steps to remove automatic page headers:

1. Go to Themes > Advanced

2. Click on the default.theme file

3. Look for the line the includes the following:

}

Note: this may vary slightly by theme.

4. Remove that line.

5. Save your changes.

6. Refresh your page.
