Shepherd's Staff 2020: Ministry Views

Sep 24, 2019 10:00:00 AM

Maintaining a good rapport with your congregation is very important. With Shepherd’s Staff 2020 recording, Pastoral Visits are no longer restricted to tracking only physical visitations. In our new update, we introduce the Ministry Tab with a focus on a new feature: Touchpoints.

Ministry_Tab

Touchpoints include not only physical visits, but any type of communication between a church worker and a member or non-member.

The Ministry Tab in the Membership module has five views of your Membership data containing records related your congregation. This includes information on touchpoint scheduling, visitor follow ups, inactivity filters, and death records.

Touchpoints Planned

This is used to organize a schedule for your ministry staff. You can also include details such as the staff person assigned, the reason for the touchpoint, as well as the method used.

Touchpoints Completed

This holds records of touchpoints that have been completed. Details like mileage, date and time completed, and notes regarding the touchpoint, are things the pastor or church worker can enter in to be encrypted. For customer privacy, Shepherd’s Staff will hide this information if the user does not have the permissions to see them.

Touchpoints Planned and Touchpoints Completed views replace the Visits grids from Shepherd’s Staff 2019.

Inactivity

This view simplifies searching for members or non-members that haven’t been active for a determined period, and if they have a touchpoint scheduled.

Follow-up

This view allows users to search for attendees based on attendance. After finding desired individuals you may want to view their person record, send them an email or schedule a Touchpoint.

Deaths

The Deaths view contains a list of members and non-members that have love ones who passed away.
