When it comes to color coding tags, calendars, and funds, it's best to come up with one system and clearly share it with your staff.
For example, you may decide to color code the “occupation” tag green so the entire staff can easily identify occupations while viewing individual profiles.
Additionally, you may decide to use one color as the code for all tags, calendars, and funds related to worship (e.g., musical abilities, worship calendars, and the organ fund).
Whatever system you choose, remember it will only work if your entire staff is on the same page. Happy coding!
Create an easily accessible list of information you often need in four easy steps:
- Create a Smart Group that groups people with the same tag (e.g. “Church Council”).
- Open the Smart Group in the “People” view and select the columns of information you regularly need, such as name, email, and address.
- Click “Save Report” at the bottom of the screen.
- Name the report (e.g. “Church Council Email List”).
That’s it! Now you have a readily available report that provides you with the specific information you need now and in the future.
