Email is an indispensable communication tool in churches and schools, enabling ministry leaders, staff, volunteers, parents, and parishioners to stay connected. However, managing today’s email inboxes can feel overwhelming and stressful. I recently conducted a poll of church workers from all over the United States, asking how many unread emails were in their inboxes. The responses ranged from zero to 106,000! While some are successful at managing their inboxes, others, for various reasons, find the “unread” count creeping up day by day, week by week.
